Water Street Brewing in Port Townsend, WA

Greetings, 'Strangers'! Wanna Volunteer?

For the past 8 years, Strange Brewfest has manifested itself into a staple of the craft brewing festival landscape. Even as we've morphed, moved, and modified our throwdown in January, we've been blessed by some constants. Firstly, the innovative brewers of our region have embraced our 'strange' concept and continue to deliver taste sensations that defy conventional brewing doctrines. Additionally, booty shakin' grooves have been deftly delivered to our eardrums by tremendous musicians. And, finally, we've always had you, the volunteer, to help us pull off this party.

Without the countless volunteers over the years, this festival would not have succeeded to the degree that it has today!

If you're interested in volunteering this year, please feel free to contact us at info@strangebrewfestpt.com.

In an effort to create the best experience for patrons of the festival, and so that we are able to meet and exceed the expectations of the Liqour Control Board, this year we are requiring all volunteers to hold a valid MAST permit (Alcohol Server Permit). To obtain your permit online or to find a class location, please CLICK HERE.

If you do volunteer, we will ask that you abstain from drinking until after your 'shift' has been completed. If any volunteer is found to be drinking, or impaired in any way while they are in the service of the festival, we will be forced to remove them from their position.

Okay, enough of the heavy stuff! Volunteering has it's great privileges! Mostly, you receive free entry, souviner tasting glass, wristband for the weekend's activities, and some tokens to get you started. For more benefits and information, including available 'shifts', send us an email and we'll get right back to you.
